While lodging is the responsibility/expense of each attendee, we have arranged a group rate at the Illini Union Hotel, a 10-minute walk from the College of Education. There are of course other local hotels to choose from depending on how close you want to be to the campus, the type of accommodations you are looking for, and your budget. These reduced rates are valid the day prior to the event start date through the day after the event concludes. If you need to stay longer, please contact the hotel directly to request an extension.

Illini Union Hotel (1401 West Green Street, Champaign, IL 61821); Discounted rate approximately $140 per night plus taxes for two Full beds or Kings/Queens (15 rooms blocked at this rate)
- First register for the event and you will be sent the discount code
- To make reservations online: go to https://illiniunionhotel.illinois.edu/ and enter your dates and click on the “Enter it now” to add the booking code and click on update. Scroll down until you see rooms available.
- To make reservations by phone 217-333-1241: Guests will need to provide the group code and give the dates.
